Our Company
Solar Solve Marine was established in 1975 and manufacture the worlds leading brand of high performance sunscreens for the marine industry. We have won 17 major awards for export and business excellence - but it is accolades and testomonials from our customers that confirm our claim to be world class.
In 2006 we moved into new custom built premises at the Port Of Tyne in South Shields, North East England, an area with strong maritime traditions. Solar Solve Marine were honoured to have our new factory officially opened by HRH Prince Andrew.
We have over 75,000 sunscreens installed in around 7,500 vessels world wide and we export to 56 different countires.
SOLASOLV® sunscreens are the only sunscreens in the world to be Type Approved by Lloyds, DNV and ABS. Rigorous tests have been carried out by each Type Approval body ensuring that SOLASOLV® sunscreens meet the latest regulatory requirements.
