On Wednesday 1 June 2011 Solar Solve was host to a Brazilian Government Official who had travelled to the North East region. Lauro Gusamo, Executive Secretary for the Pernambuco Government had travelled to Britain to promote the Pernambuco region in Brazil.
He was accompanied by a delegation that included Bob Beresford and Jeff Sanders, UKTI International Trade Advisors as well as Chris Cobb, UKTI Manager of Maritime Industries who is based in Recife Brazil.
During the meeting Solar Solve explained their plans to increase sales in Brazil which includes exhibiting at Navalshore in August to promote the SOLASOLV brand of sunscreens. After the exhibition there are additional plans to visit some potential customers in order to generate new sales opportunities.
Lauro then explained plans for Pernambuco which include creating inward investment to help assist with the rapidly expanding offshore market in their region. The meeting finished and an informal lunch was held before the delegates continued on the their next appointment.
