Solar Solve Marine were honoured and privileged to have their new factory officially opened by HRH The Duke of York on 8th December 2006.
Visiting in his capacity as the UK's special representative for international trade and investment, HRH Prince Andrew was given a tour of Solar Solves new factory by company Chairman John Lightfoot, Managing Director Julie Lightfoot and company secretary Lilian Lightfoot.
The new factory, named 'The Tyne Dock Facility' provides three times more floor space than Solar Solve's old factory and has plenty of room for expansion.
