Fitting instructions for installing all types of cassette-mounted blinds and shades.

Varystop Installation

  1. Fit the cassette back box into the recess. Using the No 8 x 3/4 screws provided.
  2. Place the roller blind (A) into the pin end bracket. Place the spring end into the bracket (B) making sure that the notch on the spring end is facing forward.
  3. Lock the spring end bracket.

Warning: The spring roller tension must not be released!

  1. Fit the front onto the cassette.
  2. Screw the aluminium angle onto the recess using the No 6 x 1/2 screws provided making sure that angle sits over the bottom edge of the cassette front.
  1. Fix the locking profile to the aluminium angle with the locking screws provided and mount the bottom rail into the track.

Fitting instructions outside recess front mounting

  1. Screw on the cassette back block to the outside of the recess using the No 8 x 3/4 screws provided.
  2. Screw on the locking profile 4.5mm from the end cap of the cassette.
  1. Place the roller blind (A) into end bracket. Place the spring end into the bracket (B) making sure that the notch on the spring end is facing forward
  2. Lock the spring end bracket

Warning: The spring roller tension must not be released!

  1. Fit the front cover onto the cassette.
  1. Fix the aluminium angle to the locking profile with locking screws provided and mount the bottom rail into the track. Making sure the angle sits on top of the front of the cassette
  2. Fit the end plug into the bottom of the angle using the screws provided.
