VARYSTOP® is a high quality, maintenance free cassette system suitable for most window locations on board vessels and manufactured to withstand constant use by passengers and crew.
It incorporates a spring roller blind system complete with cassette and side guide channels. It can be locked precisely in any required position and is suitable for standard or sloping windows. VARYSTOP® is available in a wide range of flame retardant fabrics including screen fabrics and blackout, and can be fitted inside the window recess or directly onto the surrounding bulkhead ⁄ frame.
The prime advantage of this system is the ability to lock the roller blind precisely in any position, and the fabric will always be tensioned between the roller tube and bottom rail.
The system is manufactured using high quality materials to ensure smooth, quiet and durable operation. It is very easy to install onto the window frame or bulkhead and no fixing brackets are necessary. The side guide channels and cassette profile are screwed directly to the bulkhead or into the recess with the minimum use of tools.
The system is recommended for vertical windows up to a maximum size of 2000 mm x 2000 mm. (For sloping windows the maximum width is reduced according to the inclination of the window). The cassette headbox is 66.5 mm deep and 58 mm high.
Profiles are made from extruded aluminium and pre-treated in a natural anodised or white powder coated finish (RAL 9016). Special colours are available by request.
VARYSTOP® is a dim-out roller blind. A maximum 95% blackout capacity can be achieved by using blackout fabrics. For complete blackout (99%), the LITETITE® system is recommended.
A finger grip is mounted on the bottom rail for ease of use.

Choice of Fabrics
A large selection of Flame Retardant fabric types and colours are available. Standard ranges include the following:
Blackout Fabric − 67% PVC, 25% Fibre Glass, 8% Adhesive with M1 Fire Classification (France). Easily cleaned with soap and water. Available in 12 standard colours: Navy Blue, Dark Green, Cranberry, Pink, Cream, Fawn, Pale Green, Ecru, Pale Blue, White, Grey and Black. Other colours available on request.
Lyverscreen® Fabric− Open weave fibreglass with flameproof vinyl coating, very versatile and easily maintained. Variations in the weave openness allow various degrees of outward visibility. 3 standard colours including White, White Sand, White Grey and White Pearle. With over 50 more available by special request.
Polyester Fabric − 100% Polyester. Available in 9 standard plain colours: Denim, Maroon, Ivory, Sunburst, Caramel, Apricot, Sky, Lavender, and Lily. Other colours also available on request.
