Happy New Year – Yes I know it is a little belated, especially after returning to work on the 2nd of January. But we have been inundated with quotation requests and quite a lot of orders over the festive shutdown period and first few days after returning to work.
Although we had automated email responses set up informing customers of the shutdown and that any queries or requests would be answered on our return to work, many of the enquiries over this period were responded to by our Chairman John Lightfoot. I wonder how many companies could say that their Chairman took time out of their festive celebrations to personally respond to customers!
It is little touches like the above that helps generate many positive responses from our customers and keeps them coming back for more quality products and great service! Part of our ethos at Solar Solve is that “The Customer is King” and this is something that John realised very early on when he first opened the business back in 1975. Finally to close our first blog piece of 2014. I would like to offer congratulations to our multi-talented ICT Support Officer / Part time blind maker / Fire Warden / My PC / Printer is broke fixerer……Ian Ratcliffe. Ian popped the question to his girlfriend Natalie on Christmas Day, who was delighted and said yes! Ian and Natalie are planning on a 2016 wedding and have the engagement party already planned. I am sure everyone will join me in wishing them all the best for the future. Congratulations to you both!
